I’m experiencing trouble with the tab section after transferring to the Enfold Child Theme and then updating the Parent Enfold Theme yesterday. Everything else appears to be working except the tab section. I’ve cleared my browser’s cache (Firefox), and it’s still not working. I tried opening in Chrome (and hadn’t opened the site in Chrome before) and all tabs but one are working. Any help you can give me would be much appreciated. The link to the page in question is in the Private Content.
May 18, 2017 at 12:03 am #795162Same problem here: tab section stopped working and lost styling after update from 4.0.5 to 4.0.7.
Had to roll back to 4.0.5 to keep my site running.
Any ideas or 4.0.8 coming up with changes for this?May 18, 2017 at 5:21 am #795230Check for spaces or other punctuation in the tab title. We had one title of “+ Shop” and this tab stopped working. We changed it to “Add Shop” and it still didn’t work. We had to change it to “Shop” in the end.
May 18, 2017 at 8:35 am #795699Hi,
Could you try to avoid spaces in the tab names? For instance, if the tab is called Tab 1, then try renaming it to Tab_1.
Best regards,
RikardMay 18, 2017 at 11:04 am #795783Same problem for me, I have different titles with or without apostrophe and with breaks HTML :
– Constats<br />d’Huissier
– Contentieux locatifs
– L’exécution des décisions de justice (same with “execution des decisions de justice”)
On Firefox, Safari and Chrome Mac.
I downgraded to 4.0.5 because it’s too big
Regards.
JeanMay 18, 2017 at 2:15 pm #795888No, I can’t avoid spaces due to the given content.
I’d prefer to get back the correct functionality of the tab section, it worked fine at 4.0.5.
Is this a bug within the updates 4.0.6 / 7 or will this stay as the final behaviour?May 18, 2017 at 5:46 pm #796058I also am unable to avoid spaces due to content. My client would be unhappy if I were to modify the tab titles to one word or use underscores. We’re supposed to launch the website in one week, which means I am supposed to have this problem fixed before then. Are there any other options or any workarounds until a permanent solution or update is available?

May 18, 2017 at 6:03 pm #796068Update: This problem is only happening in Firefox now. Tabs are all working in Chrome and Safari after I removed a forced line break from one of the tab titles. But none of the tabs work in Firefox.

SimonMay 22, 2017 at 10:53 am #797534Hi Simon,
There’s no update atm, Kriesi and our devs are busy with fixing the issues that have been reported earlier than this. We can only assure you that they are working hard to fix the issues as soon as possible. :)
Best regards,
Nikko -
