Hi Support,
I am having difficulties with the Blog Post element.
I have created 3 posts and categorized them in “News”. However only 1 blog post will show and clicking on the pagination won’t change that.
Settings are:
“Display Blog posts”
“News” is chosen as the category
“Single author…” is selected for the blog style
“Full content”
“Automatically” is chosen for the preview image size
The number of posts to be shown is set to 1
Offset is deactivated
Pagination is set to “Yes”Looks right to me, but the result doesn’t.
Any advice?
Allso, the socialmedia buttons are with english captions. Is it possible either to switch language or turn off the captions all together?
Regards
MetinMay 17, 2017 at 3:41 pm #794923A follow up question:
It seems my gallery allso has an issue when I want to go to the next page of gallery content. When clicking “page 2”, the exact same gallery entries show despite there being many more. See link.

RikardMay 18, 2017 at 7:13 am #795272Good morning Rikard,
Thanks for speedy reply – I have issues with:
Pagination of blogposts (click “Nyheder” in the menu), the gallery (click “Referencer” in the menu) and the socialmedia buttons in the blog posts (I want them either to be in danish or be gone – where to edit the captions?).
Best regards
MetinMay 18, 2017 at 8:14 am #795537By the way, changing the background colour from lightgrey to white in the gallery at http://www.haik.dk/referencer – where to change the CSS?

MetinMay 18, 2017 at 12:16 pm #795829Hi,
Thanks for the details though they seem not to work, could you check and verify please?
Also, please make sure that you are running the latest version of the theme (4.0.7): http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

Thanks, login details are working now. Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.0.7) to see if that helps please? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

RikardMay 20, 2017 at 8:36 am #796945Hi Rikard,
It did the trick updating the theme, bug fixed!
However, some issues remain, and new ones arose :-(
1) New issue: The images I use as background for each color section have vanished. They are still there in the code, I can edit an view them, but they won’t show when I preview it. Same goes for all background images in the colorsections. Check out http://www.haik.dk/ydelser/ forexample. Youtube videos on the contrary are showing up nicely, check out http://www.haik.dk/nyheder/
2) Old issue (haven’t mentioned it before though): When sorting the gallery (http://www.haik.dk/referencer/) by category, it will only sort within the current page, rather than the entire gallery. This probably obviously not a bug but a feature, however – it would be very nice to be able to sort the entire gallery.
I run a small architecture business, and do loads of residential housing, but only few schools. If I sort page 1, only 1 school pops up, and the visitor might think I have only done 1 school, as the other is located on page 3. A checkbox with “Sorty entire gallery yes/no” would be neat.3) CSS issue: I’d love teh background color on the http://www.haik.dk/referencer/ page to be white rather than greyish/beige. Where to change the CSS?
Regards
MetinMay 20, 2017 at 9:14 am #796948And hi yet again,
forget issue 1 – I am creating the color sections anew, and then the image shows up again. Ny idea why that is, but it works :-)

2) You can request this feature though this URL: kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/
3) To change the masonry background, just go to Element Color tab and select the define custom color option here: http://prntscr.com/falxrr

John TorvikJune 17, 2017 at 12:42 am #809162Hi, I have problmes with my blog posts as well.
1) I used the social share buttons icon for people to share my blog posts on social media. Only one blog post is sharing the article correctly with the image, the title and the excerpt. the other one only shares my websites names instead. when i share it for example on facebook and click on the post it redirects me to the original post. so the url behind it must be the right one. it just doesnt share the titel of the actual post nor image or excerpt. How is it possible it is doing it correctly for one blog post, but not the toehr one?
2) Ever since I added the social share icons and comment box below my blog post the whole layout changed. i used to have a side bar, but now the sidebar is at the bottom next to the social share buttons and comment box. the content all of a sudden is spread throughout the whole page rather than having it compact on the left side and the side bar on the right hand side.
Hope someone has a tip for me on what settings to change. Thank you
I also added my login details in the privat content to check. thank youJune 17, 2017 at 5:43 pm #809340Hi, I have problmes with my blog posts as well.

June 20, 2017 at 6:06 am #810157Hi,
Thanks for the details. Did you try a plugin like Yoast SEO https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/ to set what is being shared on social networks?
Best regards,
RikardJune 20, 2017 at 9:18 am #810240I do have the plugin Yoast SEO yes, but i did not set any regulations for social media shares. Plus the share works perfectly for one post but not the other post.
June 20, 2017 at 12:51 pm #810331Hi,
Ok, thanks for the feedback. So what is the difference between one that is working and one that is not? Could you link to an example of each please?
Best regards,
RikardJune 20, 2017 at 1:22 pm #810345thank you for your response.
unfortuantely, I do not know what the difference is, which is why I reached out to you guys. The settings are the same but one blog post I can share for example on facebook with a preview and excerpt plus titel of the blog post. the other one only shares my website url but when i click on the link it redirects me to the correct blog post. so behind what looks like just my url is the correct blog post url. i do not get a preview nor picture etc when i share this entry. i do not know why one blog posts works perfectly while the other one doesnt.please feel free to log into my back end again and check the blog post page. i thought this is what you needed the log in details for yesterday, no?
June 21, 2017 at 4:41 am #810724Hi,
Ok, thanks for that. Did you try disabling your plugin called “Simple Share Buttons Adder”? Why do you need that when there is functionality for sharing in the theme? Also try clearing the cache from your caching plugin and leave it deactivated until you have solved the problem.
Best regards,
RikardJune 22, 2017 at 1:57 pm #811524Dear Rikard,
just tried this both but unfortunately it is still not solving the problem:-/June 24, 2017 at 12:31 am #812348Would you happen to have any other tipsfor me? i googled it as well, but so far i was not able to solve the problem

June 27, 2017 at 1:10 pm #813386Hi shapedfit,
I checked a few posts, looks like the share buttons take the title of the post. Could you give a few links of the posts where is does not work as expected?
Best regards,
VictoriaJune 29, 2017 at 12:21 pm #814378Not too sure I understand what you want me to do. It works perfectly when I share the second blog post. It does not work when I share the first blog post. And I do not know why there is a difference as all the settings are the same to my knowledge. How come the share buttons take away the titel of one of the posts but not the other one? What exactly do you want me to share?

July 4, 2017 at 5:51 am #816157Hi,
The “og:image” property does not exist.
Please install one of the following plugins.
// https://wordpress.org/plugins/wonderm00ns-simple-facebook-open-graph-tags/
// https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-facebook-open-graph-protocol/If the WP SEO plugin is installed, go SEO > Social panel then make sure that OpenGraph option is enabled
