I’ve just realized that the Enfold version on my website hasn’t updated since December 14, when it updated to 3.8.4. When I go to Appearance > Themes > Enfold > Theme Update, it tells me “No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (3.8.4)” When I check manually, it tells me “your themes are up to date.” My WordPress version IS up to date – I’m running 4.7.4. And on Theme Update, I have entered my Themeforest username and API key. What gives?

Sometimes the update option does not appear because the server does not receive the required information. Please try this plugin to clear WordPress transients if you do not receive auto updates and make sure your API key is correct: https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/.
If that does not help, try to update the theme manually: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

NikkoI’ve installed the plugin, but how can I tell which current transients are safe to delete and which, if I delete them, will screw up my website? (I figure it’s safe to delete all the expired ones.) Are there any specific transients that would be interfering with the Enfold updates?

I think it should be safe to delete them all, though if you are unsure then please post admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look, or post the list here so that we can see them.

RikardUnfortunately I can’t give you admin login, as my site is a State of Missouri website. I took screenshots – there are currently 42 transients – but Imgur wouldn’t let me unload. I hope the following list is okay. Thank you for your help!

I’ve just now deleted most of the transients (although seven refuse to go away even when I ask the plugin to delete them), and the Enfold version is still stuck at 3.8.4. I think the root of the problem may be with the server hosting the website. The site is hosted by a State of Missouri server, and we frequently run into roadblocks due to its security protocols. The ITSD guy with whom I’m working thinks the server is refusing the connection to envato.com/themeforest.
