I don’t use Layer Slider but can’t find how to deactivate it ; the plugin doesn’t even seem installed…

Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.
In addition to that, please let us know if we are allowed to deactivate one or more of your plugins as well for testing purposes :)I noticed that you are using a caching plugin. Would you mind opening your plugin’s settings page and temporarily deactivate the caching of your site? Then please try to clear your browser cache and hard refresh the site (Hold CTRL + SHIFT + RELOAD) to see if that solves the issue.
If that doesn’t help, then there might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:

Yes you may activate, install, deactivate or uninstall any plugin you need to.
The problem disappears when I deactivate Simple History ; it seems the bug comes from incompatibility between Enfold’s embeded version of LayerSlider and Simple History.

We released two updates yesterday, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.0.7) to see if that helps please? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

While auto updating Enfold I have had the same message as in my 1:21am message.
But in order to test if I still have it now I must wait for a new update.
