Hi
I have uploaded the googlemaps widget to my contact page. However when I view my page I get a message saying that “the page didn’t load google maps correctly”. I am not a techy so please try and explain what I need to do in layman’s terms please :-)thanks
callyMay 16, 2017 at 4:46 am #793689Hey cally,
You probably need to add google map’s api key, for more information check this post: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-register-a-google-maps-api-key/
Best regards,
NikkoMay 16, 2017 at 7:01 pm #794298Hi Nikko
thanks for your advice-
I am still really struggling with this. I am trying to follow the instructions but when I go into the google API page and try to create a project it keeps linking it to my current website which is capturedbycally.com but I am in the process of designing a new website using wordpress enfold and it will be capturedbycally.ca. I can’t work out what I am doing wrong??May 16, 2017 at 7:10 pm #794326I did manage to create an API key but it is still not working?? this is so confusing

May 16, 2017 at 7:27 pm #794350Hi,
I inserted an API key @vinay generated in Enfold theme options and that helped. Please flush browser cache and refresh your page a few times :)
Best regards,
YigitMay 16, 2017 at 7:33 pm #794355Amazing Yigit thanks so much for you help :-)
Can I ask one other question? I have noticed in that sidebar with the map I am losing the end of my email address. I’m not sure what I need to adjust to make it fit in?
thanks again
May 16, 2017 at 7:37 pm #794359Hi,
You are welcome, we are always happy to help :)
Please edit your text and add space after “E:”. Since now there is no space, it does not break and overflown text is not shown :)
Best regards,
YigitMay 16, 2017 at 7:54 pm #794381thank you again:
so that seems to make my email address slip to the next line which doesn’t look as tidy (see text below) is there a way to extend the text margin? My business name is also splitting over two line and it would look better on one :-)May 16, 2017 at 8:08 pm #794394Hey!
I believe it would be the best if you went to Enfold theme options > General Layout > Dimensions and change sidebar/content ratio.
Alternatively, you can add following code to Quick CSS in Enfold theme options under General Styling tab to decrease font size
.widget_text { font-size: 12px; }
Cheers!

@callysykes Your API key was missing. I inserted a one our teammate @Vinay generated and it worked – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-register-a-google-maps-api-key/Regards,
