Tagged: Masonry Gallery
Hi
I have been using a shortcode for the masonry gallery in tabs on my site with no issue, but now suddenly they are not showing up. check the “gallery” tab on this page:
http://www.andesworldtravel.com/trips/alpamayo-5947-m/#tab-id-5
Is there a problem using a shortcode like this with the new update of enfold/wordpress?
[av_masonry_gallery ids='12843,12844,12845,12846' items='10' columns='3' paginate='none' size='fixed' gap='large' overlay_fx='' caption_elements='none' caption_display='on-hover' container_links='active' id='gallery' custom_class='']
UPDATE: just tested a masonry gallery on the site in a test post and cannot see the gallery there either. I also tried the fix I found here on thread #771510 but that did not change anything…
Please take a look, thanks!
Nancy
Hey Munford,
Please, put the fresh copy of avia.js and shortcodes.js (if you use one in child theme) to your child theme. The were some changes there, that are there in Enfold and not there in your child them.
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,
Victoria
Hi Victoria
Thanks for the quick response. Do I need that avia.js in the child theme? I updated it and now the galleries work fine, but I wonder if there were ealier edits to that file (which is why it was in the child theme?) Seems to work OK though. Thanks! If that is updated in the next enfold version, should I remove the avia.js from the child theme?
thanks
Nancy
Hi Nancy,
Well, why did you put it there in the first place? If you don’t have any modifications there, you don’t need to have a copy in the child theme.
Best regards,
Victoria
