    Dear members and staff,

    i create a blog page with avia editor. And than i create divers blog posts.
    Now is the same content under mydomain.com/blog and mydomain.com/category/xyz!!! This is bad!

    How can i fix that???? Under https://kriesi.at/support/topic/blog-section-duplicate-content/ is the same problem but without answer!

    Can anybody help please??

    Yes, i can set in yoast the category of noindex and a canonical too mydomain.com/blog…. But the content is still here in /category/xyz

    Anybody a idea??

    Hi,

    Thanks for that, I’m not sure if I understand your problem exactly but since those two posts are assigned to the same category then it will be displayed like that, it’s default WordPress functionality.

    okay…. but i dont have the posts assigned in two categorys! This was enfold!
    Than, i have the same problem how this user in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/blog-section-duplicate-content/

    I created a page with the “Blog” widget with all entries in the “category blog” The url is listed mydomain.com/blog
    But the category also creates a URL mydomain.com/category/tipps
    It is duplicate content!!! And seobillity.net say this me!

    Andy, in this thred: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/blog-section-duplicate-content/ , say:
    1.go to Enfold->Theme Options->And where do you want to display the Blog? And choose your blog page as needed, so you’ll only have one blog page. -> YES i done.
    2. Andy say: “glad it’s working now. Let us know in a new ticket if you have some more questions related to the theme. We are happy to assist you.”
    3. Andy dont tell the solution, how are delete the double content problem bethween /blog page and /category/tipps page!!!!!

    How is the solution!

    Hi,

    Can you give us temporary admin access? so we can check the backend. Also give us permission to deactivate plugins if necessary (would be for few minutes only).

    Hi,

    Thanks for the login details, but what I wrote you initially still stands, this is how WordPress works by default. It’s not duplicate content and your SEO won’t suffer from it.
