Hallo,

May 8, 2017 at 2:30 pm #789606Hey hyperbrand,
I haven’t been around since that version, but there’s a Social Share Buttons in the Advanced Layout Builder you might want to use them instead or perhaps a shortcode if you want to use a widget area. Hope this helps :)

NikkoMay 8, 2017 at 2:38 pm #789613Why has this useful and easy to use widget been removed? Pls explain.
May 8, 2017 at 2:45 pm #789622Hi,
You can still find “Social Share Buttons” element under Content Elements tab of Advanced Layout Builder.
You can enable debugging mode to see shortcodes you have created in pages using Advanced Layout Builder – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
Or, You can switch to Default Editor and click on Magic Wand to see full list of shortcodes http://i.imgur.com/n4KXkdm.jpg
then you can create any of them and copy/paste shortcode into any other content element or into text widget.Best regards,
YigitMay 8, 2017 at 3:02 pm #789641That still doesn’t explain why the widget was removed. Pls care to explain.
For an user without technical skills the debugging method is too complicated. You can place shortcode in a text widget, but the tooltips don’t show correctly because they are being cut off by the containing element. The result isn’t very satisfying.
The shortcode generator only shows a limited range of options different from your screenshot with no obvious option for sharing. So this won’t help very much either.
I don’t get why a formerly easy way to set this up as a widget has been removed?

May 9, 2017 at 7:39 am #790037Hi,
I’m sorry but I don’t remember the theme having a native “Social Share” widget. There’s only the Facebook Likebox Widget and the RSS and Twitter widget which are still available in the Appearance > Widgets panel. We did add a social sharing element or shortcode in the advance layout builder. You can use that shortcode in the text widget.

IsmaelMay 9, 2017 at 11:51 am #790178Maybe I am wrong. I found a social share widget in a clients website running on Enfold 3.6.1. I have not installed extra plugins for that purpose. So I asumed it must be an Enfold widget because it uses the Avia shortcode.
May 9, 2017 at 12:28 pm #790197Hi,
Probably there are some custom codes added by your client in functions.php that would have added it in widgets. You should be able to use the shortcode for the same purpose in widget area.
Best regards,
