Hi team
I have an awesome site courtesy of your fantastic theme. (www.meditationinbloomington.org)
I have been able to automate my site entirely. There is one thing I would like to do. I want a menu that automatically updates. :)
I have an idea though, please let me know how to implement it.How do I insert a enfold latest news widget into the main menu container? If I could do that, I would have a menu that automatically lists a particular type of post (special event) and is always current.
Please, please, please tell me how to do this!
Thanks :)

You can add a widget in the header: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/adding-a-widget-area-inside-the-inner-container-of-the-header-after-the-logo/#post-535353
But in the menu is not possible without major modification on the theme.
You could try this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/widgets-in-menu/
and use the Enfold Latest News widget.Best regards,

I just revisited this approach. I tried it on the following site http://www.dev.meditation-indianapolis.org/
But, the menu item disappears a moment later…?I made sure that there was no custom css conflict, not sure what else to try.
Have you had this problem with other Enfold sites? Do you know how I can fix it?

I’ve checked your site and the menu is working normally.

I did not include enough information about the menu. There is a menu item called “upcoming events” that is called via widgets in menus, the plugin you guys recommended. That is the item that is not showing. Could we revisit this? Thanks
June 10, 2017 at 12:53 pm #806300Hi,
The element is set to:opacity: 0; display: none;
making it invisible, Can you please include a admin login in the private content area so we can take a closer look.
Best regards,

BasilisSeptember 22, 2017 at 1:35 am #855131Hey team,
Sorry I lost touch. The project was put on hold for a while. I am back on it and still cannot get the menu to display in chrome or firefox on a desktop. Good news, it displays on mobile!
So, I still need to fix the display issue.
Also, can I remove the image from just the widget display?
Can I remove the publish date from the widget display? Thanks guys
September 23, 2017 at 12:44 pm #855782Hi kelsangwangpo,
I am seeing the menu on the desktop in Chrome and Firefox on a Mac. What other issues are still there?
Best regards,
VictoriaSeptember 23, 2017 at 6:23 pm #855843Thanks Victoria,
The menu should include an item called Upcoming Events. This item is called using the widgets in menu plugin that your team recommended. I haven’t been able to get it to show on desktop, but it shows up on mobile.
Once the menu appears on desktop I would also need to resolve:
Also, can I remove the image from just the widget display?
Can I remove the publish date from the widget display? Thanks so much for the quick reply!
CheersSeptember 24, 2017 at 7:02 pm #856195Hi,
