I purchased Enfold – Responsive Multi-Purpose Theme and installed it. Before purchasing it, I read the great reviews about the great documentation, and that I would have free support for 6 months. So I thought that I could figure out what to do.
I have no idea where to start. I thought that, upon installing, this would bring up a program that would allow you to make changes, etc., but do not see anything.
I searched the Forum, but found nothing.
This is my first experience with this and just need to know how to get started.May 6, 2017 at 6:46 am #788738Hey Nancy Patton,
Thanks for purchasing our theme!
Follow some useful videos to get start:

John TorvikMay 8, 2017 at 4:06 pm #789684In my attempts to get going in WordPress, and working with the Theme that I purchased, based on references that I’ve found in documentation, I have downloaded and attempted to correctly install the following:
php-5.2.9-Win32-VC6-x86.zip
xampp-win32-5.6.30-1-VC11-installer.exe
bitnami-wordpress-4.7.4-0-module-windows-installer.exe
advance-menu-manager.1.5.zip
The first video in the link you sent me is ‘Mega Menu Intro’.
First, this already has an interactive screen to work with your theme. This is what I cannot seem to find. This video references going to the ‘WordPress Menus Manager’ to change some settings. So I searched for WordPress Menus Manager an download ‘advance-menu-manager.1.5.zip, extract it to wp-content as instructed.
I cannot seem to figure out how to get a screen that displays my theme so that I can work on it. With any ‘index.php’, Dreamweaver (which I have used for my website in the past) is activated with the code from the index.php.
I have spent many hours trying to figure this out. I am obviously not that knowledgeable in all of the behind-the-scene workings in Windows, but I expected to be able to download, install and start working. Please tell me where I’m missing the boat.
May 8, 2017 at 4:44 pm #789701Hi,
Have you been able to access the WordPress dashboard at all? Also, is this being hosted locally or through a service? A lot of webhosts offer a 1-click WordPress install solution that take care of a lot of the difficult parts :-).
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonMay 8, 2017 at 10:57 pm #789892No, I have not. I did find a one-click WordPress installation, performed this installation, but have not yet figured out how to get to my theme. Thank you for this tip.
May 8, 2017 at 11:38 pm #789903Hi,
After the installation were you able to login reach the dashboard? If so you can go to Appearence > Themes > and then upload the theme .zip file
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonMay 9, 2017 at 6:51 pm #790510No. I have tried finding access to the dashboard on DreamHost, and on WordPress.
May 9, 2017 at 7:13 pm #790520Hi,
Generally it is whatever your domain is + /wp-admin. For example yoursite.com/wp-admin. It should take you to a login page.

Jordan ShannonMay 10, 2017 at 1:59 am #790748I have done the ‘one-click’ WordPress install on DreamHost. Do you think I may have done something wrong there? It mention something about domain/WP, but I did not see anything about domain/wp-admin.

May 10, 2017 at 6:44 am #790864Hi,
The demo data is not included, but you can import it under Enfold->Demo Import.
Best regards,
RikardMay 16, 2017 at 6:12 pm #794218I have looked around everywhere… Enfold, DreamHost, WordPress,
and cannot find where I would import the demo data. Also, when I do so, do I do this from DreamHost?May 16, 2017 at 6:21 pm #794236Hey ssrancher,
