Hi, we have Enfold 4.0.5 and we are having some trouble with permalinks. We change to Permalinks to postame or custom [ /%postname%/ ] and everything breaks (fie not found), as soon as we change it back to PageID it works fine. We’ve tried everything on this forum for changes to the htaccess

We are running our own server on Ubuntu version 14.04, Php 5.5.9 and we looked at the HTAccess file and made sure it was writeable
Can you help us diagnose what else could be the issue?

    Thanks again

    Hey austinbullock,

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

Thanks for the details, I get the same error on my end as well. Though it seems that it’s not a WordPress error since it’s not fetching the WordPress 404 template, but a general server page. That leads me to think that it’s an issue with the server you are hosted on. Could you try contacting your hosting provider to see if they know what’s going on?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Hi Rikard, we host our own server and have a few other WP installs (two being an older Enfold version) that work fine. Anything else we can try?

We solved the issue, the initial install was a copy of another and the HTACCESS had something wrong with it. Thanks for the help!
