    Hello,
I am trying to use my Advanced layout editor inside tabs, I followed a forum which allows me to view the code of the layout and copy it into the tabs. It worked initially but now I’m having trouble.
    See screenshot attached.
I have simply copied the code of the grid area into the tab and it’s not working as you can see, it’s not going into the tab and the text is showing in code.
Can you help me adjust this? Unfortunately, my site isn’t live yet so I can’t give you the link, are you able to talk me through it?

    Hey Tiabliss,

It is very tough to walk you through without actual access to the site in the browser. Could you possibly set up just a testing site to recreate the issue?

    Best regards,
    Jordan Shannon

    Hi,

So what you are attempting to do is use Layout Builder elements within the tabs? It sounds like you were initially using debug mode to copy the shortcodes of the grid area. Please see the following and see if it works for you:

Please enable debugging mode – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
You can also switch to Default Editor and click on Magic Wand to see full list of shortcodes http://i.imgur.com/n4KXkdm.jpg

    Best regards,

    Hi Jordan,

I already have the box which shows my shortcodes.

I am copying and pasting the correct shortcodes into the tabs but it’s just not working, I would really appreciate someone doing this for me.

I put all my details in this thread, could you help please?

    Hi Tiabliss,

They look fine in the preview mode, but I cannot check when I’m not logged into WordPress, the site says “Tia Bliss Makeup” on the white page and 503 error in console. How are you checking?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi Victoria,

    Please see my details below.

I’m currently checking on the ‘Customise’ within the wordpress backend.

    Hi,

Could you please provide a screenshot of the layout or design that you’re trying to create? Maybe, we can use another element in place of the grid row element. Unfortunately, the grid row module is a full width element so it’s not going to render properly inside a tab element. It’s not meant to be wrapped inside another container.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

See screenshot here of what I would like it to look like:

I need this page to be ready by the end of the week latest, see my site details above, could you sort this for me so we don’t have to keep going back and forth?

I will need to edit the other tabs too, so whatever you do can you make it easily editable or just show me how it was done?

Many thanks! I look forward to seeing the finished page!

    Hi,

You can not work it through the Customize.
It is not possible, Enfold is not using customizer and we are not loading the proper data / CSS / JS there at all.
That is why you do not see it right.

Also, what you are trying to do is hard with the ALB elements. You are trying to use a grid inside tabs, which makes it nested and it is not designed to be used like that
If you want to have proper design view, it is better to either use a different shortcode of pricing tables ( or a plugin like TablePress ) or custom code that area.

    Thank you for your understanding

    Best regards,
    Basilis
