    Hello
I’m using the fullwith sub menu widget on child-pages.
When people click on a link in the main menu, they go to the first of the child-pages (did this with redirect plugin).
I was able to change the color of the active menu-item in the fullwith sub-menu. So far so good.
However, when I’m on a child page, I also would like to see that the parent in the main menu also has a certain color.
Any idea how I can do this?

So when I’m on a child page the menu-item of that page (that is in the fullwith sub menu) must have a color (=> this is ok) but at the same time the menu-item of the parent (that is in the main menu) should have a certain color.

    Hope you can help me.

    Thank you.

    Hey jurgen1979,

This should be able to be accomplished by targeting the page id, and menu item. Would you be able to provide a link to the site/page in question?

    Best regards,

So you mean put css code on that specific child page …
    That’s a clever way of thinking :-) … I’ll try that.

    Hi,

Yes or you can target it with the actual page-id class. Every page and post in WordPress has one. This is used so you can apply styles to only one page if needed.

I’m using a plugin for adding css on each page. But it’s the same thing.
    Clever thinking. It worked.
    Thanks for the help!!
