    I need to shift a row of icons upward so that they sit on the same row as my Special Heading, and also be right-aligned to the right-hand content edge of the page. I need to do this without changing the 2/5 + 3/5 column setup in that section. Is there a way to achieve this? See screenshots below for reference.

    You would have to give each icon its own custom css class to set the position to absolute with a value for right decreasing by the width of the icons for each. Tbh. this wont work out well in a responsive world. You might consider writing a jquery script do the job.
