    Hello Guys.

I have a client I am building a site for with your wonderful Enfold Theme.

We are trying to use the “Magazine Element” as their Events Calendar.

We do not see any controls over the posts that being used as events.
I installed a PLUGIN called “No Future Posts” because the Magazine element would only display Posts that are in the past or today. That worked and now you can see future events (posts) as they wanted…

Now, it shows them in descending order putting their events with the in the reverse order that they want… events way in the future first and the more current ones at the bottom. I installed another plugin “Simple Custom Post Order” to try and manually change the order of the Posts… it does allow that – but when I go back to my page with the Magazine element – the order does not change.

I installed another plugin called “Chronological Posts” which Globally reverses the post order to be chronological, so that your site can display a journal or a book in chronological order… BUT, go to the page and it is still in the same order.

Can we do something to Magazine that will let us control sort order???
    BELOW IS THE PAGE:

    Thanks in advance!

    Hey Chris,

Please disable the plugins you tried, then try the solutions Ismael presented here: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/events-in-ascending-order/

Please let us know how it goes. :)

    Sarah,

Thanks for pointing me to this article – that worked!
I had to change it to “ACS” to get the results that I wanted – thanks again!

    “ASC” for “ascending”, yes.

You’re welcome! Let us know here in the forums if you need help with anything else.

    Best regards,
