Hi,
Is there anywhere to get the Enfold Child Combo Widget (for a Sidebar) to default to display the most recent posts rather than the most popular?
Kind Regards,
Tim

April 27, 2017 at 11:21 am #783936Hi tim_t20,
It’s the widget that displays your popular posts, recent posts, recent comments and a tagcloud or there is just a simple widget that displays recent posts. Does any of them suit you?
If you need further assistance please let us know.

Thanks for your reply.
The widget is great in the way it displays the content and allows you to select popular/recent/comments and I’m looking to keep the same widget rather go to the simpler recent posts one. What I’m trying to achieve is the widget automatically selecting the ‘recent’ tab rather than ‘popular’ tab as default. Can this be done?
Screen shot for reference attached.
Kind Regards,
Tim

Sure, the URL is attached.
Please be aware that this is on the development server prior to replacing our existing site.

April 30, 2017 at 5:13 pm #785305Hi,
I’ve found this old thread which seems to suggest it can be done:
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/change-order-of-tabs-on-combo-widget/
It says to edit the class-framework-widgets.php file but I can’t find this. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Tim
April 30, 2017 at 6:52 pm #785356Hey!
That is an old solution and it is also a solution that will be lost every time you update as not possible to be done from a child theme.
What might be possible is to re-create the widgets from start, but that would require to hire someone.Cheers!
BasilisApril 30, 2017 at 8:15 pm #785385That’s a shame. Thanks anyway.
