    Hi,

    I tried to create a Client them for enfold, using the documentation:

    Using a Child Theme

    After activating the Client theme the Colors changed to green, although the enfold internal setting parameters looks
    the same, after performing the “Import parent theme settings” option.

    Please give me some hints what can cause the wrong Colors!

    Hey zwachm,

    Can’t think of anything that could cause it but we can try to check what causes the issue. Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    Login credentials include:

    • The URL to the login screen.
    • A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
    • As well as a password for that username.
    • permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.

    Hi,

    Thanks for providing the login. This is fixed now, here are the steps I did to fix it:

    1. Go to Appearance > Themes, switched Enfold Child to Enfold
    2. Go to Enfold > Import/Export, exported theme settings (de)
    3. Switched theme back to Enfold Child
    4. imported theme settings

    Let us know if it’s all good :)

    thanks for the prompt support!!
    Yes, now it seems to be ok. I copied the Footer Widget Settings manually now and I think it is the same now.

    Does it mean, that the Enfold function “Import Parent Theme Settings” does not work correctly?

    Hi Michael,

    Great, glad you got it working. The import functionality is working, but sometimes you have to toggle one or two settings and save for the settings to apply. Maybe that was the case for you?
