    Hello,

    I am trying to upload an image, but every time I do, it is automatically resized from 900x380px to 500x211px. I’ve never had any problems with this happening before. The only thing I can think of it, I recently updated the theme?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey!

    You uplaoded the image through ftp and it got resized?
    Are you sure there is no limit to the server or something related?
    With FTP the size should be not touched at all

    When I couldn’t get it to work the normal way – uploading to the Media Library, I tried via ftp, yes. I’ve never had this issue before – either way…

    Hi Kari,

    Here is the reason. It’s the settings in EWWW Image Optimizer plugin set to compression and this size. You should adjust the settings or deactivate the plugin and see what happens.
