    Hello there i have a client site which needs to be updated.

    i see your latest version is 4.3, but how can i easily update from 3.9 to 4.3, when i try to import and overwrite via FTP i lose all the styling and content for the homepage and individual page styles, do i have to recreate all of these again?

    Hi David!

    That should not be the case. Have you made any changes on theme files? That might be causing the issue. If that is the case, you would need to update the theme and then re-apply the same changes.

    Hello there, there are no changes to the theme files apart from the name of the folder and the themename in the style.css

    Please find attached securely the wordpress login and FTP details, can you kindly see how it is currently, and then see when you update the theme via ftp it loses all of the styling.

    The plan is once the theme is updated to get the wordpress core and plugins all updated too.

    Hey!

    Please change the theme name in updated version before uploading to your server. That must be the reason why styling is different as it resets the dynamic stylesheet.
    Unfortunately, we cannot update the theme for you as long as you do not register to our support forum and login due to our support policy.
