Licensing Understanding

Hello,
I love your theme and plan on purchasing it for my site regardless. However, I’m a freelance designer and I’m working on a site for a client and I know this theme has multiple layouts. I haven’t charged the client and they aren’t using it an e-commerce platform, but I was wondering if the license I purchase allows me to use the theme for their site and mine. Both are hosted on two different hosts. I’m new to purchasing themes and want to make sure I understand the limits.
