¡Hello!
I have a masonry in which I display portfolio items, I would like to know if it is possible that when I click one of the items it opens in a light box or pop-up instead of on a new tab in my browser.
Thank you very much,
Best regardsApril 7, 2017 at 8:37 am #773765Hello?
April 10, 2017 at 4:18 am #775228Hi Juanjo,
Could you please post a link to the page in question so that we can take a closer look?It seems like what you need to use is the Masonry Gallery Element instead of the Masonry Element.
The big difference is that this Gallery it is not meant to display WordPress entries but images. The element can be displayed fullwidth (see Portfolio Masonry examples) or adapt to the content size…
Please let us know if you need further help!
Cheers!

April 11, 2017 at 7:13 pm #776262Hi JuanjoBarasoain,
Do you still need help with this issue? I checked today and saw a pop up with info, no extra browser tabs were open. I checked in Chrome and Safari on a Mac.
If you need further assistance please let us know.
Best regards,
VictoriaApril 18, 2017 at 9:56 am #779148Hello Victoria,
Yes, I still need help.
You see the pop up with info because I showed that as an example of what I want to achieve, that set of products is actually built as several images with its corresponding button showing the product title (see private content). I want this same action when clicking on a portfolio item in the masonry element.. I’ve just added a masonry element to the page, so you can see the difference. I want a pop-up with info to be displayed (just like the example) when you click on a portfolio item of the masonry element.April 18, 2017 at 6:07 pm #779531Hi JuanjoBarasoain,
How did you do the upper one?
Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look.Best regards,
VictoriaApril 20, 2017 at 4:49 pm #780646Hello Victoria! Thank you for your help but I finally figured it out myself :)
In case someone is struggling with this issue, I achieved it by just editing the portfolio item > Overwrite Portfolio Link setting > Define Custom Link > write the url you want to be displayed in the lightbox followed by “/?iframe=true”
For example: http://www.thisisanexample.com/?iframe=trueApril 20, 2017 at 4:58 pm #780657Hi,
We’re glad you got this sorted out, and thank you for sharing the solution! Do let us know here in the forums if you need help with anything else.
Cheers!
