Hi Team,
I want use the plugin “Custom Sidebars” but I can’t because I get an disfunction by using the setting for this widget. After many testings I find out, that there is an error from your google map widget (see image). Hope you can fix that?!
Thank you and best regards
MikeApril 5, 2017 at 7:30 am #772262Hey Mike,
The theme can’t be compatible with all plugin available plugins unfortunately, we have verified plugins which we recommend but this is not one of them. You can submit a feature request for compatibility though, and if it gets enough votes then we’ll have a look at making it compatible with the theme. https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/
Best regards,
RikardApril 5, 2017 at 7:42 am #772270Hi Rikard,
that’s true but the problem is not the plugin, the problem is there is an error (what you see
at my screenshot) in Enfold and it will be great you will fix this error! Hope you will do that!
This is not an feature request, this an an error report.Best Reagrds

MikeApril 7, 2017 at 10:37 am #773833Hey,
Sorry for the late response, I have tested the plugin Custom Sidebars 3.0.3 with WordPress 4.7.3 and Enfold 4.0.5 from a clean install and I didn’t have any issues, I have checked the dashboard especially widgets and pages but I don’t get any error like you have posted, can you tell us where it can be found? also the issue might be caused by some plugins having conflict, what Rikard said is true, while we are trying to make this plugin compatible to almost all plugins but there are really overwhelming number of plugins available. :(

NikkoApril 7, 2017 at 12:01 pm #773878Hi Nikko,
all fine, I am glad that you will help me :)
You got this error when you create an new custom sidebar. The loading animation end no more and that’s it.

NikkoApril 10, 2017 at 4:24 pm #775533Hi Nikko,
your screenshot is not the same, because you have to *create* an new custom sidebar to get the error ;)Here is what the author of this plugin wrote for my question, he have the same experiance than I:
“I did a test with Custom Sidebars and latest Enfold theme and I was able to replicate the issue but I’m afraid that the JS error is coming from the theme itself and you should check with the theme devs about that. Only workaround I was able to find is to wait a couple of seconds when you click on Create Sidebar button and then refresh the page, you should be able to see new sidebar created after that.”I send you my private data and looking forward to you help.
Thank you and regards
MikeApril 10, 2017 at 9:16 pm #775657Hi!
Can you please try a different plugin, maybe WooSidebars.
We do not have the option to modify the JS so much, as there are elements that are most important for Enfold to work out for those parts. We hope you do understand that and we appreciate if you could give a try with a different plugin
Cheers!
BasilisApril 11, 2017 at 11:09 am #775939Hi Basilis,
yes I can try this and I have :)
But WooSidebars don’t work. I don’t know why but the plugin change *not* the sidebars.Cheers
MikeApril 11, 2017 at 10:33 pm #776348Hi Mike,
There is an option in Appearance > Widgets to create a new Widget Area, I think it should be working the same as the Custom Sidebar, can you tell us what you want to achieve? probably we can help give you a workaround it.
