hi kriesi team,
i have a issue when i update the enfold theme for http://kultur-herbst.at/wp-admin/ .
then i have no more chance to go to the backend. i already pull in a backup from 2 weeks ago.
there it works fine. wordpress 4.7.3…
as soon as i update the enfold theme…. then the socalled error appears… just a white screen.
any ideas on this?thank you in advance,

I’m getting a 500 internal server error on the login page, I’m guessing that is what you are referring to? I would try contacting your hosting provider to see if they know what is going wrong. One thing you could try would be to rename the plugin folder in your WordPress installation to see if one of your plugins is causing the issue. You could also try to overwrite the theme files with a fresh copy from your Themeforest account via FTP to see if that helps: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Best regards,

i just see a white screen after the login. and when i upload an 2 weeks old backup from the site …then it works fine! and in this 2 weeks old backup there is only the enfold theme which is not the actual version. all other plugins and also the wordpress version are actual (with the 2 weeks old backup of the site).
so i guess it would have to do with the enfold update?
i also tried the renaming of the plugin folder. and also the manual update of the enfold theme.
nothing works – still the white screen appears when login.btw: the site frontend (for the user) works fine. just the backend not…
any idea?thanks,
MichaelApril 5, 2017 at 8:36 am #772313Hi Michael,
Thanks for the feedback. If you have tried both of the suggestions that I previously posted and it’s not working then I think the next step would be to have a look at server logs when the error happens. As far as I know you are the first user reporting this error on this update, so I’m guessing it has something to do with the server configuration. Did you contact your hosting provider? If not then I think it would be worth doing so since they have access to server logs.
Best regards,

April 26, 2017 at 5:41 pm #783628Hey!
@hjwalter Can you please try updating the theme manually via FTP – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/?
If that does not work as well, please start a new thread and attach WP admin logins and FTP logins in private content field so we can look into it.
If you post them here, they will be visible to creator of this thread as well :)Cheers!
