If I use the Advanced Editor to create a blog post, I can’t get content to display on the blog page or in any section with the Content Element of Blog Posts. It will show an excerpt if the default editor is used.

Is this intentional or a default of WP? Or is this a bug that is just going to drive me nuts?

I have multiple licenses and most are image based so I use a masonry layout. On this particular site I want to display full content and I can’t unless its not using the Advanced Editor.

PS – I have converted the blog post (yes only 1 at this point) to the default style so I can use it. Feel free to create what you need, the site is not busy yet. But it is live!

    Hi,

It’s intentional, when using the builder for posts they will act like pages and you will have to add all content to it manually. If you want to add an excerpt then you can select to show that field in the Screen Option on the top right hand side of the screen when you are editing a post.

    Rikard,

Is there a way to use the builder and display the full content? The only reason I ask is this particular site is going to have very few posts, like maybe 6-8 a year, if I try hard. I am sure I will fun into a client that wants it too but haven’t as of yet. Yet being the operative word.

If no work around I will make a feature request.

    Thanks!

    Hi,
Sorry, as Rikard post, It’s intentional.
Please feel free to request – or vote if already requested – such feature on Enfold feature request form.

    Best regards,
    Mike
