I have an issue that I cannot get a correct and informative answer too. I have the Enfold Theme running as a child theme. My site was built by a company about 5 years ago and they never gave me the license details and have since gone out of business. I have someone redesigning my site and I am going to purchase a new license for the theme myself, but I have a host of developers saying that the Enfold theme I have is out of date and causing 1000’s of issues faults and warnings and I should get a new theme as it is conflicting with plugins and other areas on the site or pointing to the Enfold Theme at fault. I like the Enfold theme but I don’t want to have a new site built using the Enfold theme and have all these issues faults and warnings carry over to the new site? I am really confused about what is best to do? If I purchase a new Enfold theme license does that wipe all the issues or will they just continue because it is out dated? I would appreciate your comment. I am happy to purchase the new license but only if it will correct all the faults I have. I hope you will respond. Regards,

Sorry about your problems. I wanted to log in and check your installation but the login details are not working, could you check and verify please? I could see what version you are running though, 4.0.3, so I’m guessing you have purchased a new license and updated the theme?
Best regards,

Sorry I did just change some of them.
Here are the correct login details:

Thank you very much for cotacting us.
Who developer say that, most probably should not build your web site.
Enfold is been used from more than 100K clients around the world right now, so we can not have the issues described – at all.
Only one issue reported and that is LayerSlider problems, which have been fixed already ( and it was not Enfold issue, but actually from Layer Slider ).Kriesi and the devs have already pushed updates even for WooCommerce version 3, which will be released inside the month, so actually we do not have any problems at all.
Let us know exactly what problem they are facing or – consider to hire someone else to help you out.

BasilisApril 3, 2017 at 4:49 pm #771217Darren AyreGuestI’m not sure what you checked but when I do a theme check there are 1000’s of issues warnings and faults. I purchased the Envato Gallery Plugin and it won’t work with Enfold theme. Envato developer looked into the problem on my WP and said that the Enfold Theme is the issue and it has many faults, not just for the gallery plugin.
I don’t care, I am just trying to find the solution to my issues, most people say its the Enfold Theme and I should delete it and get a new theme.
Very hard in this industry to get an honest answer. Everyone has their own agenda.
If I could attached the report from the Theme Check so you could see all the faults I would, but there is nowhere to attach a document.Darren
April 3, 2017 at 5:36 pm #771244Darren AyreGuestJust so you can see that it is the Enfold theme causing all the issues with my website. Here is the email from Imagely support – Nextgen.
We have had the memory increased by our host provider.Although we generally do not like to use the server’s cPanel access I have logged in with those credentials to specifically and only use the File Manager application it provides (FTP log in credentials are much preferred).
Given the above I am seeing some items reviewing the WordPress installation files as well as the site error_logs pointing to some problems which are not NextGEN Gallery related although they may be manifesting themselves as the issue you are seeing with NextGEN Gallery.
There are countless error_log entries for the following:
PHP Deprecated: Automatically populating $HTTP_RAW_POST_DATA is deprecated and will be removed in a future version. To avoid this warning set ‘always_populate_raw_post_data’ to ‘-1’ in php.ini and use the php://input stream instead. in Unknown on line 0
Please note, the above is not generated by NextGEN Gallery et al. by Imagely.
There are several entries where you are having memory allocation errors with other plugins and/or your theme(s), for example:
PHP Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 65798144) (tried to allocate 7040 bytes) in /home/odqw4hgf/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/masonry_gallery.php on line 118
The above specifically points to the Enfold theme, there are other references pointing to other plugins as well as past active themes although you have set within wp-config.php an appropriate PHP Memory Limit. This limit may not actually be honored within your server environment and should be confirmed with your web hosting service.
The current and past issues you are seeing with your site and/or specifically with NextGEN Gallery may resolve once the above has been sorted out, we would be happy to try to assist further with the NextGEN Galley issues once the above is addressed so we are able to see your site in a more “stable” setup. Thanks!

April 3, 2017 at 9:06 pm #771324Hey!
Can you confirm with your hosting provider, if php memory limit is 256M please?

BasilisApril 4, 2017 at 10:55 am #771644Darren AyreGuestPHP Version 5.6
memory_limit 512M
post_max_size 256MApril 5, 2017 at 7:47 am #772273Hi Darren,
Thanks for the feedback. I had a look at your installation but I can’t see any obvious problems, though you have some plugins which I know are not compatible with our theme – Visual Composer. You won’t need that anymore since the theme has it’s own builder. As for the gallery plugin you purchased, maybe you could try using the built in gallery in the theme instead?
Also please try disabling all your plugins to see if they are causing any conflicts, especially your caching plugin. If you are looking for good developer to help you out then we recommend Codable.
Best regards,
RikardApril 5, 2017 at 8:26 am #772300Darren AyreGuestHi
Thanks for your response.
We have found that this is a Enfold issue as the Plugin works fine on the Avada Theme and The Fox Theme. Its disappointing as it has been a good theme and we didn’t want to have to rebuild our site but clearly it has issues now.
So we are forced to delete the Enfold Theme and go with another theme.April 6, 2017 at 8:45 am #773014 -
