    I have a custom post type which contains a Title, Featured Image and Link to a PDF. I have managed to make the portfolio grid show a page of the featured images from the custom post type, however I would like the images in the grid when clicked on to go directly to the pdf, or preferably, load the pdf in the AJAX Portfolio.

    Could you provide any guidance on how to do this?

    Hey anthonycamilleri!

    You will have to modify the grid, and change get_permalink() with the link of your PDF.
    I guess thta if you load the pdf from a custom post type, you can load the link there.

    Hi,

    This is the file you will need to edit to make changes to Portfolio Grid: enfold\config-templatebuilder\avia-shortcodes\portfolio.php

    Hello there,

    AJAX-Portfolio works great! It shows information of the product and images.
    Now, what i would like to do, is to add the custom portfolio link underneath the description of the product, is this possible?
    Do i also need to edit the portfolio.php file or is there a token for this?

    The custom portfolio link is added in the portfolio item itself.

    I know this, but i want to add this as a extra button in the ajax portfolio grid!
    So how can i achieve this?

    Yes ofcourse, in the private content you will see the link to the overview of the portfolio grid.
    Here you will see the portfolio items, then a title and description.

    What my client wants:
    1. To add the Read more button below the description, instead of hovering over the image.
    2. And load the information in the popup in an overlay, rather then push the portfolio items to under (but maybe i can fix that with css).
    3. To add a “Buy now”-button, with the custom link from portfolio item. (Extra settings within the portolio item “Define custom link”)

    Is this a bit clear?

    Unfortunately it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)

    Ok Victoria,

    Thank you for your reply, another question then.

    In the preview text (summary of portfolio item) i have added a link to external website. But when i click on this link it will open the AJAX preview in the portfolio grid.
    How can i let this link behave like a normal link?
