Hi guys!
Thanks for the help the past few weeks. Really appreciate it. There’s one huge thing I need help with. And thats involving the way images appear in masonry gallery.
My site: http://www.ccyran.com/work
How I want the images to appear: Link: http://www.sundayafternoon.us/
See how the wider images aren’t shrunk to be the same width as portrait shots? I want that.
I want it to appear the way the Masonry Gallery Icon is shown in the appearance editor. Notice how the grid looks compared to mind. The grid in this icon matches the second link above, but my my website.

Thank you,
ChrisMarch 20, 2017 at 3:35 am #763437Hey ccyran,
Have you set the size settings to “Flexible Masonry” or “Perfect Automatic Masonry”.
Please see the screenshot: https://snag.gy/cO0Iny.jpgBest regards,
Jordan ShannonMarch 20, 2017 at 3:43 am #763441Hey Jordan,
I set it to Flexible masonry. When I do perfect automatic masonry, this happens:
It just makes everything the same size. Instead of making wider images bigger.

ChrisMarch 20, 2017 at 3:44 am #763442Hi,
What happens when it is set to flexible masonry?

Jordan ShannonMarch 20, 2017 at 3:46 am #763443Hey,
Flexible masonry makes it appear how I currently have the website: http://www.ccyran.com/work
March 20, 2017 at 3:47 am #763444I am not able to view the page. It seems to be pw protected
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonMarch 20, 2017 at 3:48 am #763445Hey Jordan,
Sorry about that! I made it PW protected. Im in the middle of making edits to a bunch of the entries. The password is in the private content field of this post.
March 20, 2017 at 3:52 am #763446Hi,
Do your images have the required aspect ratio of 16:9 or higher to qualify for the perfect automatic masonry feature?
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonMarch 20, 2017 at 4:00 am #763448Hey,
I thought it did! Can I share with you my media page and you let me know?
Also, is there any enfold examples of masonry working like this anyway?
Thanks.
March 20, 2017 at 4:47 am #763454Hi,
Please view the following demos:
If you are able to download the enfold-2017 demo, you can compare your photos to the ones used in the demo for clarity.
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonMarch 20, 2017 at 4:56 am #763458I see,
Both links are close, but my issues are with…
The first link is the closest, but I don’t like how it crops the landscape images and enlarged the portrait ones. The landscape images in that preview are cropped. And portraits enlarged 105%
The second link is cool, but the grid is predictable. I guess thats because its 3 column. I want to keep the grid columns dependent on browser width.
Thank you,
ChrisMarch 20, 2017 at 5:17 am #763472Hi,
This may need to be a feature request for future updates, but I will see if there is a css workaround.
I tried logging into the back-end but the credentials provided did not work.
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonMarch 20, 2017 at 5:21 am #763473I see, thank you.
Sorry about that. The correct pw is provided below.

ChrisMarch 20, 2017 at 5:54 pm #763718Hi,
Try adding this to quick css and let me know if it produces a desired result:
.responsive.html_stretched .av-masonry-entry{width:33.2% !important; }
Best regards,
Jordan ShannonMarch 20, 2017 at 6:27 pm #763737Hey Jordan,
I added that and didnt see any changes. The page still looks the same :/
March 20, 2017 at 7:00 pm #763747Hi,
I see adjusting the percentage should adjust the image sizes to give it a little more dynamism, but as I mentioned before, this may have to be added to feature request as at the moment the masonry portfolio is not as dynamic as you need. You can explain your issue and add it to the feature request here.
Apologies that I am not of more help.Best regards,
Jordan ShannonMarch 20, 2017 at 7:02 pm #763748Hey Jordan,
I understand. Thank you for your help. Please see the private content link below.
March 20, 2017 at 8:20 pm #763768Hi,
Sure I will head over and look into it now
Best regards,
