http://uvalltogether.staging.wpengine.com/happenings/ (hosted on WPengine) (hosted on WPengine)This is how it should look with the Sidebar went back to 3.1.5 Enfold theme —
https://www.uvalltogether.org/happenings/If you click on an event the sidebar should not disappear as it does in 4.0 Version of Enfold
Side bar missingBut should look like —
with the sidebar
Is there a setting I have missed — I cannot spot anything that has changed…
This has been upgraded to Events Calendar Pro 4.4
http://uvalltogether.staging.wpengine.com/happenings/ —I had the same problem with an earlier version Events Calendar Pro after the Enfold upgradeAre there issues with some theme files or php files that need to be modified?
Can they be modified through a child theme?
Please advise.
THanks
DavidPS I am posting this again…my earlier posts were not answered
March 20, 2017 at 4:20 am #763451Hey dcarlsondesign,
Did you modify any file in config-events-calendar folder in the Enfold theme to show the sidebar on the right? You would need to re-apply the changes to it or follow the one on this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/sidebar-the-events-calendar/
Best regards,
NikkoMarch 20, 2017 at 7:02 pm #763749Hi Nikko,
that seems to work.
So Every time I update the Enfold theme this will get overwritten? And I will have to add the file again?
Can it somehow be placed in my Child Theme file to make things easier?

March 20, 2017 at 8:16 pm #763763Hi,
You can copy the “config-calendar” and paste in your theme child with this file edited, this way, you won`t do it every time that the enfold is updated :)
Best regards,
John TorvikMarch 20, 2017 at 8:23 pm #763771Hi John,
I’m happy to hear I can place in my Child theme…But could you be more specific about what files need to be in the Child theme?
I changed the file — default_template.php file which is inside a “views” Folder and the Views Folder is inside a “config-events-calendar” folder — which also has other files in the folder….Are you saying to move the entire config-events-calerdar folder to the child theme — with all the files inside even if they were not changed?
thanks,
DaidMarch 20, 2017 at 9:21 pm #763803Hi!
Please download those to your local computer, with your ftp client and keep them as backup.
After doing so, update enfold and re-upload the files you have done changes.Everything should be able to work properly.
Let us know if we can do anything else.Cheers!
