Server configuration issues detected!
phpQuery, an external library in LayerSlider, have unmet dependencies. It requires PHP5 with the following extensions installed: PHP DOM extension, PHP Multibyte String extension. Please contact with your hosting provider to resolve these dependencies, as it will likely prevent LayerSlider from functioning properly. This issue could result a blank page in slider builder.Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/tepasfoto/domains/tepasfoto.nl/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/helpers/phpQuery.php on line 2
I have downgraded the theme because of this error.

March 7, 2017 at 4:36 pm #757083Hi,
Sorry for the late reply!
I have seen similar issue on another users installation. It does definitely seem like a PHP related issue. Enfold is not compatible with PHP7.1.x. Could you please contact your hosting provider and ask them to upgrade PHP version? Also, please make sure that you are using the latest version of Enfold which is currently 4.0.2 – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/

March 8, 2017 at 3:31 pm #757848Hi,
Here is an official reply from LayerSlider team
You need to install the DOMDocument PHP extension or update your PHP version on your server. The new version uses phpQuery at several points and this library requires that PHP extension.
This is a common extension, which is a part of PHP by default. Some hosting services might disable it for some reason, but it shouldn’t be a problem for most of the cases. We are looking for ways how we could solve this, but at the moment that library and the plugin depends on this extension.
