Any help please ?
Thanks !
March 3, 2017 at 7:15 am #754856Hey fcp,
Could you post a link to the site in question so that we can take a closer look please?
Best regards,
RikardMarch 3, 2017 at 1:35 pm #755033Hello Rikard !
In private the link to the masonry page.
As I told you, before the update, there were the names of the post categories at the top of the page, but not anymore. However, I’ve changed nothing…
Could you help ?
Thanks !
March 7, 2017 at 12:36 pm #756935Excuse me…
Any solution ?
Thanks
March 8, 2017 at 3:32 pm #757849Hello,
I’ve got more information about my problem, if it can help…
Indeed, when I click on the button “Load more” at the bottom of the page, all the categories appear at the top, but they are not visible when the page is loaded for the first time.
Could you tell me what to do please ?
Thanks !
March 8, 2017 at 4:02 pm #757873Hi,
this is default behavior. Those categories get loaded only when the related items appear.
Best regards,
AndyMarch 8, 2017 at 4:12 pm #757883Ok, but how could I fix it ??
This problem didn’t exist before the last update, so I need a solution…
Thanks !
March 8, 2017 at 6:01 pm #757966Hi,
as far as I know this was the case also before the update. In my experience masonry always worked like this. You can hire a freelance developer for this job.
Best regards,
AndyMarch 8, 2017 at 6:33 pm #757983No, it was not.
What you mean is that the categories appear only when posts related to those categories are loaded. But it is not what happens in that case, because posts on the main page (before “load more”) still are from different categories…
Furthermore, it never happens like this before the last update, I know it, this is my website so I can be sure. You can understand that I can not hire a freelance developer to fix something that did work before, so do you have an idea please ?
Thanks !
March 10, 2017 at 3:37 pm #758954Hi,
seems I don’t get what you mean. Can you explain further please? and please use screenshot to make things clear for us (imgur.com, dropbox).
Best regards,
AndyMarch 10, 2017 at 6:47 pm #759079Ok,
There are 2 pages in private content.
You can look the behaviour of images (when hover) on PAGE 1, this is EXACTLY what I want on PAGE 2, as simple as this.
Thank you

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
Login credentials include:

AndyMarch 13, 2017 at 3:32 pm #760038Hi,
Forget my previous message, I made a mistake and I answered to another post. Nothing to do with this one…
So, to summarize, when the page “Notre actu” (in the main menu) is loaded, categories menu doesn’t appear on the page, and it only appears after activating the “Load more” button.
Here are the credentials (in private content).
Please tell me EVERY CHANGE you will make in the code or anything else ? Thanks !
March 13, 2017 at 6:51 pm #760194Hi,
about which categories menu are you talking about? can you provide screenshots to make things clear please?
Best regards,
AndyMarch 14, 2017 at 11:27 am #760591Ok, just load this page in private content. Ok, now you must see no categories on the top of the page. There is only “TOUTE L’ACTU”.
Now, if you click on the “CHARGER PLUS” (LOAD MORE in French) button, categories menu appears. You can now see “TOUTE L’ACTU / CINÉMA / ÉVÈNEMENTS / FESTIVALS” and so on…
Can you see it ???
March 14, 2017 at 8:09 pm #760949Hi,
yes, and this is default behavior of Masonry Gallery.
Unfortunately it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However if its really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)Best regards,
AndyMarch 14, 2017 at 11:45 pm #761041Ok. So why this Masonry Gallery didn’t have the same behavior on my website before and why it did display the categories when the page was loaded for the first time ?
March 14, 2017 at 11:54 pm #761047Ok. I’ve just opened the Enfold demo and the Masonry page : http://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-2017/portfolio/masonry-portfolio-example-3-column/
As you can see, the categories display immediately when the page is loaded (All/Design/Illustration/Photography), no need to click on LOAD MORE to make it appear… So why do you tell me it is the default behavior of it ???March 15, 2017 at 12:35 am #761060Maybe I’ve found something… On the post pages (for example this page in private content), category doesn’t appear under the post title. The date is displayed, the author is displayed to, but not the category. That’s maybe the reason why Masonry “thinks” that posts belong to any category…
Could it help ?
ThanksMarch 17, 2017 at 1:23 pm #762466Hi,
as you can see on the page you’ve referred to, only the categories which are already visible get used. The ones which are hidden behind “Load more” don’t get used. This is what I mean with “default behavior” of Masonry Gallery.
Best regards,
AndyMarch 17, 2017 at 2:43 pm #762510Yes, I know ! And on my page, several categories are already visible on the first loading. THAT IS my problem !!
March 17, 2017 at 5:38 pm #762606Hi,
the difference is that on the Kriesi page the elements with the category are already loaded, but in your case they are only loaded when you click on “load more”. Is that correct? if yes, then this is causing it. If this is not correct, then there might be something wrong with your masonry gallery and in this case it’s best to get a fresh installation as there might be some corrupted files. Delete all theme files via FTP completely and then install a fresh copy from your themeofrest account.
Best regards,
AndyMarch 17, 2017 at 5:54 pm #762613No, it is not correct. on my page to, the elements with the category are already loaded. That is the reason why I did this threat.
And I told you a few posts before, I noticed something : on the post pages (for example this page in private content), category doesn’t appear under the post title. The date is displayed, the author is displayed to, but not the category. That’s maybe the reason why Masonry “thinks” that posts belong to any category…
Could it help ?
Thanks
March 20, 2017 at 5:37 pm #763704Hi,
I checked again your Masonry and now it seems to work fine, as the categories get loaded fine. Can you confirm please?
Best regards,
AndyMarch 20, 2017 at 6:06 pm #763723Hi,
I checked on Chrome and Safari to be sure, but unfortunately it doesn’t. I don’t understand how it could work for you…
March 20, 2017 at 10:30 pm #763839Hey!
With a clear cache it worked here also properly.
Cheers!
BasilisMarch 21, 2017 at 1:41 pm #764170Ok, I tried one more time on several browsers after clearing caches and it doesn’t work.
I also asked a friend to test it on another computer and he told me that the only category he can see is TOUTE L’ACTU, exactly like me.So could you first tell me on which browser you can see all the categories displayed on the first loading of the page ?
Thanks
March 21, 2017 at 2:54 pm #764212Hi,
this is all quite confusing here. Can you provide us a precise link where we can see the issue? and a screenshot/mockup highlighting whats’s going on please?
I checked page in private content, but seems to be totally different than some days ago.Best regards,
AndyMarch 21, 2017 at 3:16 pm #764221Sure !
But I can only repeat what I’ve already said :
On PAGE 1, when the page is loaded, categories don’t appear. Clicking LOAD MORE button is needed to display those categories.
On PAGE 2, the post category doesn’t appear. There are date, name, but no category. (This is the same thing for any other post).
March 22, 2017 at 5:49 pm #764922Hi,
let’s focus on one single issue here and feel free to open a new ticket for 2.).
I tested it on my end and the issue it not happening for me. Categories get loaded fine for me. So something is wrong especially on your end. I made some testing inside your backend and as soon as I deactivate all plugins the issue is gone. So you need to find out which plugin is causing the issue. Deactivate all of them one by one to do so, until you find the causing one.
Best regards,
Andy -
