These are the files, which are not served through CDN. (Amazon Cloudfront as well as MaxCDN ).
Please notice instead of one blackslash, all of these files paths have double blackslash, causing too poor score in pagespeed and yslow, and load time is now significantly high.//wp-content//themes//enfold//css//grid.css?ver=0.9.5
//wp-content//themes//enfold//css//base.css?ver=0.9.5
//wp-content//themes//enfold//css//layout.css?ver=0.9.5
//wp-content//themes//enfold//css//shortcodes.css?ver=0.9.5
//wp-content//themes//enfold//js//aviapopup//magnific-popup.css?ver=0.9.5
//wp-content//themes//enfold//js//mediaelement//skin-1//mediaelementplayer.css?ver=0.9.5
//wp-content//themes//enfold//css//custom.css?ver=0.9.5
//wp-content//uploads//dynamic_avia//enfold.css?ver=0.9.5
//wp-content//themes//enfold//css//admin-preview.css?ver=0.9.5February 27, 2017 at 9:58 pm #752549Hey Af!
That is to make sure that the child themes are loading any files properly and that the CDN or the server is getting through SSL.
Are you using an software to push the files through CDN?Regards,
BasilisFebruary 27, 2017 at 10:08 pm #752554For the cloudfront cdn, I simply use wp-rocket, which works great with most of the CDN. I do not use any child theme. And my site is already SSL, and all files server through https. Is there anyway I can stop this feature? So these CSS files will just load like previous versions.
February 27, 2017 at 10:17 pm #752561Hi!
As I remember properly, WPRocket has an option for the CSS files to load from the CDN and include them.
Can you do that for those files with the URLS u provided?Would that work?
Cheers!
BasilisFebruary 27, 2017 at 10:29 pm #752570Yes I have already tried it, and it does not work with enfold 4.0. I also just reported it to wp-rocket about this issue.
February 27, 2017 at 10:32 pm #752571By the way, turning off CSS minification in wp-rocket, let all those css files served through cdn. But turning off magnification makes the page load speed really bad. So, its related with minification of these css files and there serving order and paths.
February 27, 2017 at 11:19 pm #752611Hi!
Let us know what the WPRocket team will come up with and we can see if it is something we can do from our side.
I understand that maybe you need to re-compile the files to fo theough the optimisationCheers!
BasilisFebruary 28, 2017 at 10:33 pm #753290Yes Chowdhury, that would be fantastic! I have messaged them as well. I assume they are aware of this issue considering they usually get in contact with me very quickly when I have questions or issues and they have yet to connect with me yet.
March 1, 2017 at 5:12 pm #753811Hi,
Please feel free to get back to us as soon as you hear from them.
We will keep this ticket open for you :)Best regards,
VinayMarch 2, 2017 at 10:37 am #754241I’ve got the same issue!
March 3, 2017 at 6:07 pm #755244After further research it looks like multiple issues. Wp-rocket just released a fix to their plugin if you connect to CDN’s (which we did).
But also, the biggest problem was the transferring of layerslider demo images from the theme folder into the media library.
I am running a multi site and some of my individual websites have imported over 50,000 duplicate demo images from the layerslider into their individual media library. Some websites are still importing duplicate images today as we speak.
My team is trying to go through and delete all of them as quickly as possible. But more keep coming. This definitely had a part in overloading our servers the past week.
Any thoughts?
March 8, 2017 at 10:58 am #757682If those files are related to child theme of enfold, can we turn off the child theme option as I just use the basic enfold theme.
March 9, 2017 at 4:22 am #758138The issue has been solved. It was my mistake, I have a child theme with some old files in that.
Please close the topic.March 10, 2017 at 10:03 am #758769 -
