Nothing I I do can make the easyn easy slider do anything but load 1500ps wide images.
What is the trick?February 25, 2017 at 9:57 pm #751842February 25, 2017 at 10:18 pm #751844Thank you Mike. I want the slider to load smaller images. No matter what image size I select in the slider settings, or what size image I upload, all it will display are very big 1500 pixel images.
Does that make sense?
It would be great if I could select Portfolio Small (260×185)under “Slide Show Image Size” and the theme would resize the images; is that supposed to work?Assuming it does not work, since I tried, I resized the images and selected “No Scaling (Original Width X Original Height); but the slider now displays the small image at the same scale (1500px wide) and you will see they come out very low res!
At any rate, I’m just getting started with Enfold and love it so far, just working out the kinks ….
Thank you for helping!
I’m singing off now and will be back later to try again,

To be sure, there are not actual videos, they are simple J-Peg photographs created from screen clippings of a film I’m producing in FCP.
The photos are not stretched by the slider, they are in 16:9 aspect ratio.
I think the issue is straight forward: can I use the front page easy slider to present photos of the sizes listed in the easy slider media element’s “Slide Show Image Size” selector? to do so, do I have to size the images myself down to the exact ration and pixels (no problem, if so)? or do I have to use a different element?
Again … many thanks!

Did you set the “Stretch image to fit the slideshow size?” settings to the second option? The first option will stretch the image.
Best regards,
