I have successfully uploaded the Enfold theme, but as soon as I go to install it I get a blank web page – totally empty.
I have found the only way to fix it is to log into my server and delete the Enfold theme. The website then works ok again.
I have definitely uploaded the enfold.zip file, I am running out of ideas what to do!
Any ideas?
(all the default themes seem to work ok!)

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
Login credentials include:
- The URL to the login screen.
- A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
- As well as a password for that username.
- permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.
We also need ftp access for it.
Best regards,

February 20, 2017 at 9:51 pm #749606Hi,
I just checked it and can’t find any Enfold theme, can you try to upload the theme again? if it doesn’t work, try to follow the instructions here: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-over-ftp/
Best regards,
NikkoFebruary 20, 2017 at 10:30 pm #749633Hiya,
I have uploaded the enfold.zip file using FileManager on the Plesk server. You can now see Enfold in the Themes.
You can also see a note saying something to do with __MacOS as having a missing file. I don’t know what this is about??
February 20, 2017 at 10:50 pm #749644Hi,
Thanks for uploading Enfold. I tested it but I get this error:
HTTP ERROR 500
This is an Internal Server Error, can you provide the ftp access.
Best regards,

February 21, 2017 at 1:41 pm #749942Hi,
@colinwalton Please try to increase the allocated memory to 256M: http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
You can contact your service provider and they can do it for you.
@PascalStifani Your website loads fine on my end at the moment :)Best regards,
YigitFebruary 21, 2017 at 1:57 pm #749959Hi Yigit,
I am using Plesk so have altered the php limit myself to 256M. Sadly this hasn’t solved the problem. I can’t even log into the wp_admin page.
Last time I managed to fix this by deleting the Enfold theme folder then setting the theme to something else via Plesk.
The problem seems to be Enfold for some reason?
February 21, 2017 at 2:01 pm #749962Sorry Yigit, you are right I was altering the wrong setting. Making the PHP memory_limit 256M has fixed the problem
THANK YOU !
February 21, 2017 at 2:03 pm #749964Hey!
I created a private testing page and it seems to be working fine now. So i am guessing increasing memory limit solved the issue? :)
Edit: Glad it helped! Let us know if you have any other questions or issues :)Cheers!
