Good afternoon,
I’ve been using the Enfold theme successfully for several years now, but this is my first time experiencing this issue…
I’m finding that all of the body text on my website, when viewed on Mac computers is appearing Bold. I’ve tested two Macs, both with Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. The text displays correctly and properly on Windows machines.
I can’t recall making any recent change that I would believe to affect this. I’m using Open Sans, both for headers and body text.
Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Kevin
Hey kevinraposo7!
Except the testimonials, the rest I can see them fine.
have you fixed the issue?
Regards,
Basilis
Hey Basilis,
I haven’t made any changes. Please see links to the attached screenshots – #1 is on a Windows machine, and #2 is on my Mac – both in Chrome. You’ll see everything is in bold on the Mac.
Thanks,
Kevin
Hi,
I checked your website on Chrome, Firefox and Safari on OSX 10.11 and they show up fine on my end. I attached a screenshot in private content field.
Please flush browser cache and refresh your page a few times – http://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Hard_Refresh

HI Yigit,
I tried following your instructions, but unfortunately, it didn’t appear to resolve the problem on my end.
However, I was able to find a solution. I installed ‘Open Sans’ fonts from Google on my machine, and the web pages immediately began loading correctly.
I’m not sure why this only began occurring a few weeks ago, as I’ve never had the fonts installed – but whatever it is, this was clearly a local machine issue. I apologize for wasting your time.
Thank you for your help, and keep up the great work with Enfold!
Kevin
