    Hi naxiand!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    Did you install the WPML String Translation extension? You can use it to translate specific strings in the site. If you don’t have this extension, please install the following plugin, go to its panel, edit the language then search for the string or text that you want to translate.

    // https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/

    If you look better the photos you will see the string translation editing the widget but nothing happens

    Hi,

    Please use the Loco Translate plugin instead.

    wpml isnt compatible with enfold? I bought it because of this. Now you write me to use something complete different? Is there is a fix with wpml?

    Hey!

    Alright. I’m just suggesting a workaround. Please post the login details here so that we can check it properly.

    Hi!

    This is probably related to the issue.

    // https://wpml.org/forums/topic/widget-title-string-translation-not-working/

    Please edit the theme > enfold > wpml-config.xml file, look for this code:

    <wpml-config>

    Below, add this code:

        <admin-texts>
          <key name="widget_avia_mailchimp_widget">
            <key name="title"/>
            <key name="*"/>
          </key>
        </admin_texts>

    Regards,
    Ismael

    Thanks for the help but nothing changed…………….

    Hey!

    I see. Could you please provide the FTP details so that we can test this further? And if possible, please create a new ticket in the W P M L forum for additional help. I might have provided an incorrect configuration in the wpml-config.xml file so if they can take a look at it, that would be great.

    Ismael

    Hi!

    I’m sorry but I can’t get this to work. The only workaround I can think of is to add the translations in the language files manually or use the loco translate plugin. We will report the issue to Kriesi.

    Ismael

    Hi!

    UPDATE: It’s working now. I had to re-register the wpml-config.xml file. The string is located inside the “admin_texts_widget_avia_mailchimp_widget” text domain.

    <admin-texts>
          <key name="widget_avia_mailchimp_widget">
            <key name="*"/>
          </key>
        </admin_texts>

    Cheers!

    Hi, This is great thank you very much for your time and effort in solving this :)

    #762910

    Hey i have noticed that you changed the widget title (A warm welcome) and (News) . The translation is opposite. I have change it but nothing happens………

    #763073

    Hey!

    This is a cache issue of the W P M L extension. I deleted the old “A warm welcome!” translation in the W P M L String Translation panel. Please translate it again.
