Hi!
I’m using the enfold vacations template. I recently try to put some videos in my website but it nos showing the youtube thumbnail, rather is using a simple url without a chance to style it. (so people have to click an url instead of a video thumbnail)
Her’es how it looks front and back end https://snag.gy/CA46Sf.jpg
How can ui fix this?
thanks in advance
February 15, 2017 at 7:48 am #747321Hey claraelisa,
Please try removing the s from https in the video URL to see if that helps. If not then please post admin login details in private and point out where we can see the error and we’ll have a closer look at it.
Best regards,

I’ve tried removing the s from the video url with no results :( . I’m working on a localhost so i can’t provide a login access. Is there any other thing i could try?
Thanks in advance
February 16, 2017 at 8:14 am #747829Hi,
Ok, thanks for the feedback. Did you verify that the video is actually working? You could try to inspect the page in question using a browser like Chrome and see if you see any error messages in the console.

RikardFebruary 16, 2017 at 3:03 pm #747977it’s a youtube video, so yes, the video works fine. I’ve worked with enfold before and have great results, but not with the vacations template.
February 16, 2017 at 8:33 pm #748129I have the same problem. Seem to be doing this after an update…

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
Login credentials include:
- The URL to the login screen.
- A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
- As well as a password for that username.
- permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.

February 27, 2017 at 6:34 am #752156Hi,
I’m sorry but we can’t help you unless we can see the issue live. Have you tried the default video embed shortcode?
// https://codex.wordpress.org/Video_Shortcode
Add the “poster” parameter.
Best regards,
