February 11, 2017 at 1:12 pm #745755Hey Nathan,
Google services like the map feature is now constrained to work with an API key. It is easy to get the Google API key please refer to this link
If you already created an API key please delete all old API key’s from google account to avoid a conflict.
While setting up the API key make sure to add
*
before and after the domain name without http, www or https in the URL.Example *.kriesi.at/*
Add your API key in the theme options Enfold > Google Services
Best regards,
VinayFebruary 11, 2017 at 10:13 pm #745800I feel confused
I went to theme forest to my account in settings and copied that and paste it into
Enfold>Them Update
is that where you mean?
February 11, 2017 at 10:16 pm #745801there are a lot of “theme options” options, are you referring to “Theme Update” section?
February 12, 2017 at 9:43 am #745905Hi,
It’s Enfold > Google Services
Best regards,
VinayFebruary 12, 2017 at 12:28 pm #745924I don’t have that option or tab
and it says in “Theme Update”
“No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (3.4.3)”
?
February 12, 2017 at 1:05 pm #745930Hi,
Please try this plugin to clear WordPress transients if you do not receive auto updates and make sure your API key is correct: https://wordpress.org/plugins/artiss-transient-cleaner/.
If it does not help, I am afraid you might need to update the theme manually – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/
Unfortunately not all Server environments are able to make use of the auto update feature provided by ThemeForest :/
Best regards,
YigitFebruary 12, 2017 at 1:52 pm #745940I hear you thank you for the links
so if i update manually will I loose any content?
February 12, 2017 at 1:59 pm #745941I feel happy the plugin worked.
the theme update says
“Attention: Any modifications made to the Theme Files will be lost when updating. If you did change any files (Custom CSS rules or PHP file modifications for example) make sure to create a theme backup.”
“will be lost”
what does “theme files” mean what is that referring to?
February 12, 2017 at 5:33 pm #745981Hi!
You have not done any modifications so you are not going to loose something.
That is for those who modify the files of the theme.Let us know if we can do anything else for you
Regards,
BasilisFebruary 12, 2017 at 7:25 pm #746000I feel relieved and thankful for your clarity
