    I purchased and installed LayerSlider WP 6.1.6 manually in the enfold config-layerslider folder. I did not replace the whole folder as I noticed there is an avia-samples folder, so uploaded the contents of the layerslider folder (overwriting the existing files that matched).
    So now in my dashboard, the layerslider dashboard is broken. I’ve enabled debug mode but don’t see anything writing to the debug log file.

    Any help on what to do next? Thanks!

    Update,
    It is not compatible :(

    I switched to the WP 2017 default theme, and uploaded layer slider WP to the plugin folder and the dashboard is working.

    Any idea when you guys will have a release to fix this? I need the new features in LS WP 6 so reinstalling v5 is not an option for me.

    Hi,

    Since the Layer Slider is bundled with the theme, we can only verify that the version we are currently using is working. We’ve had some problems with version 6 but we should hopefully have that included in a future release.

    Thanks for the reply Rikard.
    Can you give me an estimate when this new version is expected?

    I heard mention on another thread that it would be soon.
    The problem I’m having with the old LayerSlider version is it’s inability to scale down for smaller screen resolutions without clipping the image, using the full screen layout. The picture needs to scale from 1920 width to 1024 without truncating the image. Unfortunately version 6 does this, but version 5 does not. I’m supposed to launch the site March 1, so of course need layerslider 6 functionality by then, or a new solution.
