Hello!
http://www.fbtherapy.com is using some of the techniques found in the Enfold demo ‘Endre & Fabienne’. Specifically in the demo in the ‘Who are we?’ section, there is a background image of what looks like a very nice, fancy hotel. Likewise in the ‘Wedding Details’ section, the background image is of the young lady who is getting married. Please notice that the pictures/images used for the background are very crisp and clear. They’re actually quite beautiful.
In the website I’m working on (www.fbtherapy.com) I’m using the same background image technique. I’m using the same settings in my color section definition. The only difference is the picture I’m using. Here’s the problem: none of the pictures I use are crisp and clear on the website. They are, however, very crisp and clear as stand alone pics.
What the heck and I doing wrong? How can I get my backgrounds on the website to be as crisp and clear as they are in the pics (and as they are in the demo)?
Thoughts?
Thanks.
Jeff

When you set the background image in the WordPress media library, you will have an option on the right hand side of the screen to select the resolution of the image. Did you verify that you have selected the correct size there?

Thanks for pointing that out to me. It ended up not being a media library import issue, but rather a background image attachment issue. I had attached the images with a medium size (300×300). I changed it to fullscreen size and I’m now getting the crisp images that I wanted.
Thanks so much!
I’m having a blast with this stuff.

Glad you got it working, it’s not the most obvious thing to think of when selecting the images so I totally understand users who miss to check that. Please let us know if you should need any further help on the topic or if we can close it.
