Ajax search results with relevanssi has issue

I installed the relevanssi plugin and added the code I found on your site that tells how to enable the feature. When typing, I get the dropdown with search results, but one of the results (not much content yet) instead of showing the actual content, I get code as the excerpt result.

Looks like this:

I’ve gone through the settings for the relevanssi plugin, have rebuilt the index after every change, have enabled the “expand shortcodes in post content” but still get the above.

In the full search results page however, this is not a problem. Results appear normal there.

How do I fix this?
