It’s a fresh install with your child theme file.
This is how the problem seemed to begin: After I edited the Socket background colour, I noticed that the website no longer matched the preview and my expectations. It’s as if the socket background is overriding all the other section background colours. Plus, the navigation font colours (purple and bright blue) are not specified anywhere I can see, so I don’t know where those instructions are coming from. Neither reinstalling the child theme, deactivating all plugins nor removing all the CSS resolved the issue.
The 404 page isn’t looking as expected either.
Hi!
If you disable the child theme and leave only enfold is it working properly?
Thanks a lot
Cheers!

It can’t be compared immediately because some of the settings are lost when the main Enfold theme is activated (These settings are lost with the theme change from Child to main: General Styling (except for Advanced CSS which is saved), Advanced Styling, Sidebar Settings). So I made some of the changes to approximate what I did when the Child Theme was active, and the result is that It appears to be working correctly when the main Enfold theme is activated.
Hi,
The way you commented in your Quick CSS field was wrong in parent theme. Correct way is following
/* to make form fields full width */
I fixed them. Can you please try once again?
Best regards,
Yigit
Thank you, I’ve made note of that so they are correct from now on. However, this doesn’t fix the problem with the Child theme colours. Even if I delete all the Custom CSS, the problem is still there.
Hey!
“Alternate Background color” for Footer in General Styling was added incorrectly. I fixed it as well. It does seem to work fine now. Please review your website again :)

Yigit
Yes, it looks correct now! Thank you! What did I do wrong with the footer colour?
Hi!
It looked something like this – http://i.imgur.com/mwVVtwx.png :)

Thank you! I’ve made a note to check colours should something like this happen again. :)
