Hi, I tried to clone a page.
I enabled the debug mode and just copied the code into the new page. If I check the copied page in a browser I see that the css has changed, some elements (on desktop) seem to suddenly have responsive css for tablet, making some elements smaller on desktop and looking different on mobile. I see for example this css in the copied page on desktop screen: .
responsive .container {
max-width: 1000px;
}This code is not there in the original; page
Check for example the text in the slider, it has become smaller.
I tried copying all text in the text editor and pasting to text editor, also tried in the avia builder to just copy the code into the new page, to no avail.Do you know what is going on? thanks a lot

Try to check the settings of the page. The original page seems to be using a transparent header while the clone isn’t.
Best regards,

1. I already checked those settings several times and the layout settings are exactly the same.
2. On my development platform I also tried with duplicate page plugin, but problem remains the same.
I also tried to save as template, and reuse the template.What I see in the source is that html and some css is different. For example there are divs which are not within the: <div id=”wrap_all”>, they are outside it. Also the width of certain columns is set as 1000px instead of 100%, etc.
Is there some problem with template update?
Can you please check with the login I provide.
The original page= home, the clone is home-testhope you can help, I do not get any further with this site
January 29, 2017 at 5:10 pm #739961Hey!
That might happen, as the settings can be like transfered, but not actually applied ( when doing that type of transfer ).
Can you please consider re-save the settings and check if that will solve your issue?Thanks a lot
Cheers!
