    Hello,

    There was a threat where i got help with the video issue but can´t find it.

    1. The issue is on the browser when using it responsive it is showing the video/size wrong:

    View post on imgur.com

    2. On mobile it was showing at least the picture on the video slide, but now it is just showing a black page.
    I want it to display at least the picture like before or even better show the video on mobile/tablet´s too.

    Hi lech07!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

    1.) Are you resizing the browser in order to reproduce the issue? Please note that this video will be disabled on an actual mobile device. Did you modify the js > shorcodes.js file? Please look for the thread here.

    // https://kriesi.at/support/profile/lech07/topics/

    2.) Did you enable the color section’s Section Background > “Hide video on Mobile Devices?” option?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    #740883

    1. yes, i am making the browser smaller.
    I dont believe i did any change in the .js file but maybe Nikko did. I dont remember to be honest.

    The only thing i could find from the thread regarding video was: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/text-3/

    2. no I dont believe i did.

    But the idea is to make it look correct the video on resized briowser and on mobile version and tablet.

    Hey!

    yes, i am making the browser smaller.

    1.) I don’t think users will deliberately resize the browser just to see the issue but this is still a glitch in the script so we have to fix it. We need to know which files or scripts are modified. I’ll ask Nikko to take a look.

    2.) Please enable the option because the video will not play on most mobile devices. After enabling the option, please add a background or a fall back image. This image will display on mobile devices instead of the video.

    Regards,
    Ismael

    1. Sounds great thanks.

    2. where do i enable this option?
    I actually want the video to play for mobile devices too. Why is this not activated by default or integrated?

    #743768

    Hey!

    1.) Edit the colour section and you’ll find the option right below the video field.

    2.) Most mobile devices do not autoplay videos in order to save bandwidth. And it can cause performance issues on mobile devices.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    1. i have edited the color section but the picture is either too small or too big. if i remember correct before i had these issues it was automatically showing the picture on mobile devices and it was showing it correct. How can i do that? Should i upload a new photo just for the mobile devices and in which dimensions?

    2. did nikko find which files was changed?

    #744585

    Hi!

    1.) Before adding the image as background, look for the “ATTACHMENT DISPLAY SETTINGS” then select the appropriate size.

    2.) Please get a fresh copy of the js > avia.js and the js > shortcodes.js file then override the old one. Those are the only files where we can alter the video script. Did you add any filter or snippet in the functions.php file?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    #745055

    1. i tried all sizes. the one i choose now get zoomed in and are not very clear. what do i need to do? Do I need to use a bigger photo or?

    2. The only thing i have added in funtions.php is a code that removes/hide the issue with \r\n\r\n which was appearing all over the website.

    I have overwritten the avia.js and shortcodes.js with a fresh copy from the enfold zip file i had on my computer.

    Hi!

    Please look for this css code in the Quick CSS field. This is why the video is resizing on smaller screens.

    @media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
         iframe {
             width: 100% !important;
         }
    }

    You should use a relatively small image for mobile devices.

    Cheers!

    ok so i should remove that specific css code or should i just try to upload a smaller image? I tried to upload a smal image but it looks awful.

    I cant find exactly that code in my css, only some of it. my ccs looks like this:

    #top .flag-dansk {
    background: url(‘http://zorbas.synology.me/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/dansk-flag.png’) center center no-repeat !important;
    height: 18px;
    width: 50px;
    text-indent: -9999em;
    }

    #top .flag-svensk {
    background: url(‘//zorbas.synology.me/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/svensk-flag.png’) center center no-repeat !important;
    height: 18px;
    width: 50px;
    text-indent: -9999em;
    }

    #top .flag-dansk a,

    Hey!

    This is the css code that you have to remove.

    iframe {
    width: 100% !important;
    }

    Regards,
    Ismael

    #748567

    i have removed it and tried with different pictures for mobile version, the issue is the same. The picture gets zoomed or are very unclear.
    When resizing the browser the video still appears but at the side like before.

    It was not like this before.

    #748813

    Hey!

    This is a very small image.

    http://zorbas.synology.me/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2016/10/levende-gr%C3%A6sk-musik.jpg

    Please use an image with dimension close to the standard screen resolution of smart phones, 640px x 960px will do. The image zoom is natural because it has to cover the whole container and keep the image’s aspect ratio.

    Cheers!

    hi Ismael,

    can you help me with the site. Not much of the css works correctly and i was told by andy to upload the theme again and the child theme. Can you help me? I need to finish the small corrections to migrate the two sites to my hosting agency. Please.

    Hi!

    I’m sorry for the late response. We replied in the actual thread.
