Multimedia Site

Hi, I’m a musician that is about to choose his first them for his first website.

I thought 24 hours of surfing wordpress themes has it sussed until I came across jqueryrain and your site and now I suffer from ignorance is bliss as these two simple taps on my iPad made me realise how much more functional, beautiful, and deep yet simple a website can be.

Anyway as a solo artist I want my site to be bold yet simple.

Most importantly I want a single window that will display all forms of media and transport system that will universally control the playback of said media across all pages or queries or navigation. (forgive my terminology; i have no coding experience whatsoever.

Basically if someone visits my site, I want the to be able to begin playing a video or song or executing that slideshow and have it continue to play regardless of where else they navigate to on the site.

The oversized transport buttons will enable them to pause, restart, skip, or switch to a different work or even different play list (i.e. album) at anytime.

It is obvious after viewing your site and the jquery site that this is easily obtainable for one with coding skills however for someone with zero web skills, I have to rely on an out-of-the box theme.

I hope that you might be able to ffer me something or pint me in the direction of a theme that might fir the bill.

For what it’s worth, after scouring hundreds of themes over the last couple of days, I am surprised and how poorly the theme business supports musicians, music videos, song playlists and how ugly 99% of the players are.

I feel this is without a doubt, a huge gap in the market, and for what it’s worth, there you have a reasonably intelliget layman’s experience looking for a solution to present his music and music videos elegantly (with a touch of violet and satan)
