I would like to add an Avia content element to a footer widget, specifically the testimonial. Is that possible?

I think it should be possible, but you need to copy the shortcode of the element you want to use. You can see shortcodes if activate debug mode: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/enable-advanced-layout-builder-debug/
