    Hi,

on a project we build last year with enfold we noticed this error after one of the last updates. When a post is saved in the standard WordPress Editor the URL does not display the post itself, but the blog archive page. But it is not redirected to the blog archive, the content of the blog archive is loaded under the post URL!!
Only when we switch to the Avia Layout Editor and save the blog post again it is available via its URL. Though this is a minor problem do you have any idea how to solve this?

Already thought it might be permalink problem, but changing the permalink problem does not change anything. Only switching to the Layout Editor solves the problem.

    Hey marximo.lider,

Please send us a temporary admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

    Hi Rikard,

thanks. The problem is besides, that if the layout editor is active the post does not display the featured image automatically and the customer would have to insert it within the laywout editor again. Thats why we originally decided to use the standard WordPress editor for posts.

Find the credentials in the private content section below.

    best,
    Daniel

PS: Would love, if you’d use HTTPS on kriesi.at, since users transmitting login & FTP credentials

    Hi,

Thanks for that, I can’t see anything obviously wrong though. Could you try deactivating all plugins to see if one of them is causing a conflict please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

tried that, didn’t help. Seems not to be a plugin issue :-(

    Hi,

This is weird. Is it OK if we deactivate the plugins while working on the site? Did you modify the .htaccess file? Why do you have a lot 301 redirects?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi,
the 301s redirect the URL structure of the old website and should not impact the new site. (The the content of the blog archive is loaded under the post URL! There is no redirect here) The other lines in the htaccess are just regulary multisite wordpress stuff.

Please feel free to deactivate the plugins to test where the problem is.

    best regards,
    Daniel

    Hi,

I deactivated every plugins in the site but it’s still the same. Did you modify any of the theme files? Please post the FTP details here and we’ll check it further.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi,

yes, we overwrote some in a child theme – but I already deactivated them by changing their names temporary and it had no effect on the problem.

    Hi,

What do you mean by “we overwrote some in a child theme”? Are you referring to the author.php, archive.php file etc? I checked the theme files but I can’t find anything wrong with it. I also reconfigured theme .htaccess file but it didn’t fix the issue. Please delete the current theme folder then replace it with a fresh copy.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
