    Hello,
I’d like to change the text used with the Captcha in the Dutch translation.
I found the text in the lang-folder in the nl_NL.po-file.
But when I change the string nothing happens. (I even made a copy to my enfold child theme, lang-folder)

This is what I’d like to change:
    # @ avia_framework
    #: config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/contact.php:379
    #: config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/mailchimp.php:430
msgid “Please prove that you are human by solving the equation”
msgstr “Echte helden kunnen rekenen. Los deze som op om te laten zien dat je een held bent:”

I believe the captcha isn’t an equation, it’s a sum.

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards,
    Jeron Ponstijn

    Hey Jeron!

You can refer to this post – http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/add-new-or-replace-advanced-layout-builder-elements-from-child-theme/ and copy the element to your child theme and apply the changes on the file directly

    Best regards,

Hi Yigit, thanks for your reply.
It isn’t the solution for my problem though.

I’d like to change the Dutch translation from a string in English in the (enfold/lang/) nl_NL.po-file.
But the change somehow doesn’t work.

    Kind regards,

    Jeron

    Hey!

Did you set the Settings > General > Site Language to Deutch or to your own language? The language files are not going to work if it is set to the default language (English).

    Cheers!

    Ismael, thanks for your reply.

The language is set to Dutch.

The strange thing is that the string (sentence) that is displayed above the CAPTCHA is Dutch but that output doesn’t change when I edit the file. It stays the ‘original’ sentence although the .PO-file has been changed.

    Cheers,
    Jeron

    Hey!

That is because a .po file, when edited, generates a .mo file also.
Can you try download the file with a PoEdit and edit the file and upload again, or the other way is to use a software like
Loco Translate and edit the string with it.

Let us know if that will work

    Great, that works! Thanks Basilis!

For the record: I worked with the changed files in the themes/enfold folder. It didn’t work in the themes/enfold-child folder.

    Have a nice day.

    Cheers,
    Jeron
