    Hello,
    If I add a Contact Form unmodified, the form works fine but if I add text to Autorespond Text field the form is not sending mails anymore and not showing the confirmation text either. It worked fine 2h ago.
    I modified this text “Please prove that you are human by solving the equation” in contact.php and Captcha 0+8=8 was not true. I put back the original contact.php and the problem was solved with captcha but still not sending emails.

    Hey sumeriansun,

    Please update the theme to the latest version 3.8.4 if you have not.

    Did you install any plugins? just before the problem started?

    Access the folder ‘/wp-content/themes/’ from hosting control panel > file manager or via the FTP tool and rename the ‘enfold’ folder to ‘enfold-old’.

    Download a fresh copy of enfold theme and extract the ‘enfold’ theme folder from the downloaded package and upload it to same location ‘/wp-content/themes/’ this should fix the issue.

    Do not worry about the data it will be safe :)

    If you are using the latest version let us know where we can see the issue by providing a link to the page where we can see the issue.

    Hi Vinay,
    I had 3.8.3 and updated to 3.8.4 as advised. The problem is still there. When I click the Send button, form diapers, no confirmation message and no email sent. This only happens when I add text to Autorespond Text.

    Hi,

    We need to take a closer look at the issue Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    Login credentials include:

    • The URL to the login screen.
    • A valid username (with full administration capabilities).
    • As well as a password for that username.
    • permission to deactivate plugins if necessary.

    Hi,

    Enfold is just using WordPress’ default mail functions, so if these aren’t working on your end, that your server is blocking it. Talk with your host about it. If they can’t help you, then we recommend to work with a plugin like Contact Form 7 instead.
