Hi.
Once again I’m back with a another enfold site!, Just can not keep away from this theme.
I have imported the hotel demo content to have a poke around at an element i liked and could not work out how it was done but now i have it installed i get it.
I am editing out nearly all of the demo content now and am a little stuck with the header, i have changed the header colours as i always do in the
Advance e styling > Main Menu Links – Change the styling for your main menu links.,
But it seems to be keeping the font colours? Is it coded in somehow in the demo as it will not change for me in the normal way..
The font on the menu items should be black as you can see, If i select to “apply when mouse over state” that works but otherwise it just stays white..
Thanks as always.
January 4, 2017 at 6:21 pm #729558Hey mmsdev,
deactivate any caching you or your host is using on your server, as well as deactivate any plugins to check if one is causing this issue. Do any other color changes work for you?
Best regards,
AndyJanuary 5, 2017 at 1:50 am #729700Yes as per my original post.
“If i select to “apply when mouse over state” that works but otherwise it just stays white”
All other colour changes work.
I only have 2 plugins! And i have deactivate both of them.
You are welcome to take a look in the admin, i have set a user upon for you.
As you can see its a tiny site open 5 pages.
January 6, 2017 at 6:55 am #730188Hi,
I have checked it and could confirm it doesn’t work, I tried it on my end using the hotel demo but it’s working on my end, I do notice that some css is overriding it. Can you try to delete this file: wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/enfold.css and try it again. If it doesn’t work would a workaround be okay as a solution?
Best regards,
NikkoJanuary 6, 2017 at 10:05 pm #730534Hi.
If i delete the wp-content/uploads/dynamic_avia/enfold.css will this have any other effect on the page?
If it does not work then yes a word around is fine
January 6, 2017 at 10:17 pm #730539Hi!
Yes, please rename it to enfold_bak.css so you can have a backup, in case something goes wrong.
Let us knowBest regards,
BasilisJanuary 6, 2017 at 10:51 pm #730556Hi.
I tried that and it just made all the styling of the site disappear. All fonts changed and it did not respond to any changes made in the styling section.
January 9, 2017 at 1:04 pm #731106Hi,
There might be some corrupted files, so please delete all theme files completely via FTP, before installing a fresh copy from your themeforest account. Here is a short tutorial on how to install the theme via FTP, in case you are not sure how that works:

AndyJanuary 10, 2017 at 12:34 am #731332Ok so deleted the enfold install and then installed it by FTP and its still the same.
I am convinced that its something to do with the hotel theme dummy data i installed that has something coded into the header.
Next suggestion please..
January 10, 2017 at 8:05 am #731430Hi,
Can you give us ftp access? so we could look into this issue further.

January 14, 2017 at 3:37 am #733419Hi,
The menu items are set to “buttons” so the advanced styling options are not going to take effect. Please try to modify the style in the Quick CSS field.
#top #wrap_all .header_color .av-menu-button-colored > a .avia-menu-text { background-color: green; color: blue; border-color: red; }
Adjust the values as needed.
Best regards,
IsmaelJanuary 16, 2017 at 12:52 am #733836That works a treat, finally.
Many thanks.
It was obvious when you say that the when menu items are used as buttons it doers not take effect.
Slightly confusing though as it would be useful to know this and also it does work when its set to on “Apply only to mouse hover state”
Thanks for the answer though.
