Hello,
I would like to utilize my OptinMonster plugin to trigger my popup when someone clicks a button. How do I accomplish this?
Hey,
Please refer to my post here – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/lightbox-for-mailchimp-form/#post-582439. If that does not help, please elaborate on the changes you would like to make.
Happy holidays!
Best regards,
Yigit
Hi Yigit,
I have a plugin that I use called Optin Monster. It’s a popup that appears under certain conditions. I would like to for it to trigger when someone clicks a button.
Please visit my page http://www.cleanmachinenutrition.com
When you attempt to leave the page a popup occurs.
I would like for this popup to appear when a guest clicks a button. Please see the feedback I received from the plugin creator….

Hey Michael,
Thanks for the information and apologies for the delay as our team has been away for the holidays :)
I see that you’re trying to use the default theme button to run MonsterLink on. I don’t see where your theme is going to let us add either the class or the data attibute to that button. We’d have to hack the full button module or to ask the kriesi enfold themes folks how to add a class and a data atribute to the button itself.
Instead, you can just use the button snippet from this tutorial into a text field and it should work just fine : http://optinmonster.com/docs/how-to-use-monsterlinks-to-load-your-popup-with-click-of-a-button/
Let me know how it goes, thanks!”
Thank you in advance,
Michael
Hi,
you can do this: http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/turn-on-custom-css-field-for-all-alb-elements/
This way you can provide your button a unique css class.
Hope this helps!
Best regards,
Andy
